Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Her H.O.P.E. Reset™ ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use our services. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, Peer Specialists, and healthcare partner organizations participating in the pilot program.

2. Description of Services

Her H.O.P.E. Reset™ is a peer support platform for women veterans offering community support, a curated resource library, the My Well Baseline™ self-assessment, Peer Specialist matching, and educational content through the H.O.P.E. (Housing, Opportunity, Purpose, Empowerment) Method.

Pilot phase: The Platform is in a limited pilot phase. All core features are provided at no cost. No paid membership tiers are active during the pilot. Features and these Terms may change as the pilot evolves; registered users will be notified of material changes by email.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to use our services. Our services are designed primarily for women veterans. Healthcare partner organizations and their authorized representatives may also access the Platform in connection with the pilot program.

4. Pilot Program — Healthcare Partners

Healthcare organizations participating in the pilot agree to the following:

• Pilot participation is governed by a separate Pilot Agreement. In any conflict, the Pilot Agreement controls.
• Partners receive only aggregate, de-identified reports. No individual user data is shared without explicit written user consent.
• Aggregate data may not be used for purposes outside the Pilot Agreement without prior written consent from Her HOPE Reset LLC.
• Pilot participation does not create an employment, agency, or joint venture relationship between the partner and Her HOPE Reset LLC.
• Her H.O.P.E. Reset™ is a peer support platform, not a clinical service. Partners acknowledge it does not constitute medical care, mental health treatment, or clinical intervention, and does not replace clinical services.

5. Peer Specialist Terms

Peer Specialists participating in the Her H.O.P.E. Reset™ Peer Specialist Leadership Program agree to the following:

• Peer Specialists are not employees of Her HOPE Reset LLC unless a separate employment agreement exists. Pilot Peer Specialists are volunteers or independent contractors as specified in their individual agreements.
• Peer Specialists must complete the Her H.O.P.E. Reset™ Peer Specialist Leadership Program before being matched with users.
• Peer Specialists must maintain confidentiality of all user communications, subject to mandatory reporting obligations under applicable law.
• Peer Specialists must immediately refer users in crisis to the Veterans Crisis Line (988, press 1). Peer Specialists do not provide crisis intervention.
• Peer Specialists may not provide medical advice, mental health treatment, legal counsel, or financial advice.
• Peer Specialists must disclose any actual or potential conflicts of interest to Her HOPE Reset LLC.

6. User Conduct

You agree not to use the Platform to:

• Harass, threaten, or harm other users or Peer Specialists
• Post false, misleading, or harmful content
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Platform
• Use the Platform for commercial solicitation without written consent
• Impersonate any person or entity, including Peer Specialists or staff

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms or conduct harmful to the community.

7. Not a Medical, Mental Health, or Legal Service

Her H.O.P.E. Reset™ provides peer support, educational resources, and community connection. We are not a licensed medical provider, mental health service, crisis service, or legal service. Nothing on our Platform constitutes medical advice, mental health treatment, crisis intervention, or legal counsel. Peer Specialists are not licensed clinicians.

8. My Well Baseline™ Assessment

The My Well Baseline™ is a self-administered wellness orientation tool, not a clinical assessment or diagnostic instrument. Results are stored only in your browser session and are never transmitted to our servers. Scores are intended to help you identify areas of focus and connect with relevant resources — they are not a clinical diagnosis, a measure of disability, or a substitute for professional evaluation. Do not use My Well Baseline™ results as the basis for clinical decisions.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on the Platform — including text, graphics, logos, course materials, the H.O.P.E. Method framework, the My Well Baseline™ assessment, and the Her H.O.P.E. Reset™ name and trademark — is owned by Her HOPE Reset LLC or its licensors and protected by copyright and trademark law. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without written permission.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We make no guarantees about the accuracy, completeness, or fitness for purpose of any content, resources, or Peer Specialist matching. During the pilot phase, features may change, be unavailable, or be discontinued without notice.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Her HOPE Reset LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform, including reliance on Peer Specialist communications, My Well Baseline™ results, or resource recommendations. Because the Platform is provided at no cost during the pilot phase, our total liability for any claim shall not exceed one hundred dollars ($100.00).

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Her HOPE Reset LLC, its officers, directors, employees, and Peer Specialists from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Platform, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms as the Platform evolves. Registered users will be notified of material changes by email. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which Her HOPE Reset LLC is incorporated, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration, except where prohibited by applicable law.
